Canoe Routes

Water  resources are a major part of Forest County.  There are over 560 miles  of rivers and streams alone in the county.  With all these miles of  streams there are plenty of opportunities to canoe down gentle, scenic  trout streams, or enjoy the thrill of class II, III and IV rapids.  Just  remember to know your capabilities and what routes you will be taking.  


River: Brule River

Put-in: Brule lake Damn

Take-out: Hwy 139 Bridge

Description: Two rapids - Water should be medium high
