Located 4 miles South of Crandon on County Park Rd. off East Shore Dr. The park was  developed and is maintained by the Forest County Forestry & Recreation Department.  The Park manager is available on site for  information and concerns. The park is open from:

 Site Information 

  These sites can be rented from May 1st – October 1st. The sites can be reserved with a $1,000 deposit starting January 1st. 

*June 24 - October 1st for 2022

Daily Camping

Tent Sites ($20/Night)

This rate is for one tent per unit. Additional camping units on sites will be an added cost. See park manager for details. 

Camper Sites ($30/Night)

Sites 20-58. This rate is for one camper or tent unit. Additional camping units on sites will be an added cost. See park manager for details. 

Site Rental Information

Please note that the prices do not include taxes, a $10 non-refundable registration fee, and excluding seasonal sites. The county reserve the right to change prices at any time.  There is a maximum of 14 days per reservation.

Pavilion Rental (2)

Full Day ($125.00)

Half Day ($100.00)

There will be a $25.00 refundable deposit if the following regulations are followed:

  1. The Pavilion is to be left in the same condition as found (including  restrooms, parking area, etc). 
  2. Users are responsible for all garbage pickup from Pavilion area.  Please deposit in dumpsters. 
  3. No DJ's or live music. 
  4. Pavilions close at 9:00 p.m. daily.

Reservation Form

Lake Metonga

Lake Metonga offers excellent fishing and boating. This 2,100 acre lake offers plenty of room for all water enthusiasts. Fish inhabiting this lake include walleye, northern pike, large and small mouth bass, bluegill, black crappie, rock bass, pumpkinseed, perch, bullheads, and white suckers to name a few. A boat launch is located on the west side of the park by the dam. There is also a free to use, high pressure boat wash station located behind the garage in the park.
